THE VAMPIRE TRILOGY
VAMPIRE! THE ACADEMIC GENESIS: On a university campus,
sociology Professor Sam Raven, has a frightening encounter with a strange
and hideous figure. As bloodied murder victims are found, he and his
wife, Helene, anthropologist and folklore expert, become involved in
the attempt to identify and deal with a very unusual and deadly murderer:
a mutated deviant of the human genotype, much like the legendary vampire.
VAMPIRE! THE ACADEMIC CHRONICLES: A sequel to the
first book, the vampire is installed as President of the university.
When Sam and others persist in trying to kill him, the vampire, with
the help of a more powerful female version of himself, begins to murder
his faculty pursuers. We discover that the female vampire is pregnant.
VAMPIRE! THE ACADEMIC LEGACY: Sam and Helene Raven
are asked for help by a former student disturbed by events at his small,
religious college. They find the female vampire at the college, rearing
her vampire son, both preying upon human victims. At great risk, Sam
and Helene identify and pursue both mother and her fledgling son.
THE TIME TRAVEL TRILOGY
RECTIFICATION: A TIME NOVEL: Time travel is achieved
in 1999 and Temporal Iterative Millennium Explorations (TIME), is established.
Stephen Kapor, a senior TIME physicist, is obsessed with nullifying
20th century tragedies: the Holocaust and WW II. He travels to 1919
and alters the life of a young Adolf Hitler. Though successful, Stephen
finds that time travel, based on World War II science, doesn't exist
in the alternate 20th century he's created. When Stephen cleverly recreates
time travel in the alternate 20th century, he returns to 2002 to find
major time anomalies and complications created buy his new progeny.
DEVIL IN THE DETAILS: Time traveler Stephen Kapor
is sent by Temporal Iterative Millennium Explorations (TIME), to rescue
an anthropologist investigating the Salem witch trials of 1690-92.
He finds she's to be tried as a witch. Her rescue without changing
history and his present is a challenge nearly defeating this veteran
time traveler.
TAPESTRIES OF TIME: Scholar Abraham Kapor is permitted
to use the facilities of Temporal Iterative Millennium Explorations
(TIME) to explore the social dynamics of Savonarola's theocratic reign
in late 15th century Florence, Italy. After being caught in the bonfires
of the vanities, he encounters another set of time travelers led by
an incarnation of Leonardo di Vinci. The fabric of time and the existence
of his world is threatened.
